OpenHouse, coliving in Lille for responsible, economical and social housing!
The advantages of the house
Birdy is our second coliving house in Lille. Located in the Roubaix district of Lille, this magnificent house with its Lille charm is the main alternative to student residences or traditional colocations for several reasons. Birdy consists of 11 rooms, all fully furnished and equipped with private bathrooms, with an intimate personalization of space that gives the room a playful aspect. On top of this, we have communal spaces like a large living room, an open kitchen and dining room that are all adjacent to each other, a coworking room and a mini-lounge in the basement for tenants to get together solo from time to time. And the icing on the cake is a magnificent garden.
In addition to all these features, Birdy is centrally located for all amenities. We have shops nearby, an average of 3 minutes from the house, and the train station in 3 minutes, with the metro 2 just across the street.
Whether you're a young professional or a student looking for a place to live close to Lille city center, and you don't mind sharing 11 people in a large, comfortable house, come and live at Birdy and discover coliving by OpenHouse.

Is coliving at Birdy eco-friendly?
As soon as you start looking for accommodation, especially in large cities like Lille, the prices of apartments on offer, the limited supply on the market, the amount of the security deposit required and the very suggestive notions of comfort are sure to turn the search for a student studio or apartment into a real crossroads.
To put an end to the endless questions of which crous to contact, which specialized real estate agencies to contact, where to find university residences with availability, and unsuccessful visits to apartments on the eighth floor with no elevator, a furnished studio under the roof with no insulation, or the university room that is anything but intimate and comfortable, there is a solution: coliving!
And OpenHouse offers you a more responsible and ethical vision, which places the comfort of roommates as the cornerstone of its facilities, and places respect for the environment and eco-responsibility at the heart of its acquisition and renovation process.
Values which today enable us to offer you a coliving apartment in Lille: the Birdy house, where 11 individually furnished rooms await you.

How is OpenHouse revolutionising coliving in Lille?
Living in the Birdy house in Lille means much more than finding a place to live and paying rent to a landlord. Choosing OpenHouse coliving means becoming part of a genuine community that places eco-responsibility and sharing at the heart of its prerogatives.
Birdy, like all the other OpenHouse houses, is the result of careful thought, both in terms of the choice of its strategic location for our colivers and in terms of the renovation processes used. The choice of responsible, bio-sourced or recycled materials, the selection of energy-efficient heating and hot water production equipment, and the reinforcement of the home's insulating capacity to avoid excessive consumption and reduce heat loss are all part of the process.
All these values and solutions enable us to offer our community of colivers a different kind of coliving home in Lille, based on respect for our environment and for others.
Coliving in Lille with OpenHouse, how does it work?
With OpenHouse, no more agency fees, illegible leases, dubious and unclear rental contracts or the impossibility of renting an apartment for a short period of time.
